During my recent stay at Mi Paraiso Rio Dulce, I found the location to be a definite highlight-not far from the enchanting Castillo. The hotel itself could benefit from a more guest-centric approach in its operations. The restaurant was where my experience shone. I was impressed by the culinary innovation on display, with a menu featuring fresh local ingredients that transformed simple dishes into good experiences. The ambiance, too, was captivating-dining in a relaxed yet sophisticated setting allowed for an enjoyable meal that lingered in my memory. I remember one morning, waking up to a spread that went beyond the typical breakfast fare, featuring freshly baked pastries that were so good. Sipping coffee at the bar later that day, I appreciated the attentive service, even if the overall organizational aspect of the hotel felt lacking. In essence, while the accommodations themselves have room for improvement, the culinary offerings and the lovely atmosphere made for a unique getaway that any food enthusiast may appreciate.
